About American Anodizing Co.

Originally started in 1990 as Smith Metal Finishing doing Type II anodize, the company moved to its’ current location in Wayne Haven Industrial park in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 2003. This move provided a larger, cleaner facility to enhance process efficiency.

In 2010, the current owners, Chad & Emily Lambert, and Bob Muhn purchased Smith Metal Finishing, Inc. and changed the name to American Anodizing Co. With a new business plan, values and commitment to the business’s great assets, the customers, American Anodizing Co. doubled its facilities and customer base over the next five years. Adding ISO 9001:2015 certification the company has been able to strengthen its core values of quality standards, excellent customer service, and on-time completion. In 2017 the company added 2 new processing lines with an additional 5000 sq. ft. to better handle customer needs and growing market.

We communicate openly with our clients to agree on what needs to be done. This helps us to stay flexible, while still being able to process large volume jobs. Our customers rely on us to expedite their orders through our facility with the utmost attention to quality and timely delivery of finished products.
