At American Anodizing Co., we are proud to provide high quality aluminum anodizing for corrosion & wear resistance, improved paint/glue adhesion, and other beneficial qualities. We offer Type II anodizing, ideal for decorative coloring and protection, and Type III anodizing, which provides a clear, black coat with excellent wear, corrosion, electrical, and heat resistance. The experts at American Anodizing manually electroplate each individual part that is given to us. We provide meticulous and detailed work, specializing in small parts and coating thicknesses that range from .0002 mm to 3 mm. Our technicians work with many different alloy types, including 2024, 3005, 5005, 5052, 6061, 7075 and others. In addition to anodizing, we offer chromate / alodine protective coatings that provide excellent corrosion resistance and adhesive surfaces for aluminum parts. We work in volumes that range from prototypes to large scale production runs up to millions of parts per year. Our facility offers fast turnaround times, typically just 72 hours for Type II and 96 to 120 hours for Type III anodizing, depending on volume. And we take pride in the quality of our work. We operate an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility, with many jobs performed to meet the exacting requirements of the U.S. military.
